Zoo

After we got our pictures taken I promised a trip to the zoo if they were good.  They were as good as you can expect 3 boys their age to be!  So off we went to the zoo... me, the boys, and Grandma Karen joined us.

The Des Moines zoo is the perfect size, just enough cool animals but not so huge you get tired and bored.  We saw a ton of animals there: lions, tigers, fish, birds, sea lions, penuins, otters, prairie dogs, goats, and more (although a lot were not out yet).  We fed the ducks, touched fish, and climbed on some dinosaur bones.  We took a ton of pics of the animals to show daddy when we got home.  Here are a few of my animals at the zoo.

On the wiggly bridge, Grandma and Easton found a bird.  She lifted him up and he actually touched it!

All these fish were just hanging out in this little area, kinda grossed me out.  I think because it was still technically winter they were lethargic or something.  The kids HAD to touch them of course.
